How can I withdraw from Foresight?
You can withdraw from Foresight, or reduce your involvement, at any time.
If you want to leave you can choose between two options:
- Partial withdrawal means we will not contact you again, or get any further information from your health records. We can still analyse the sample and data you gave before you withdrew.
- Full withdrawal means we will not contact you again and we will destroy the data we collected from you, besides from any data we are required to keep for auditing, archival and troubleshooting purposes. However, it will not be possible to remove them from any research that has already started, and your data from any data sets released for research that were prepared before you withdrew.
If you decide to withdraw from Foresight, please contact us via e-mail or post with the following information:
- Partial or Full withdraw
- Your full name
- Your date of birth or your NHS number
